As the ship remains docked in Bordeaux overnight, enjoy time to settle into your accommodations, explore the city at your leisure, or join a select group of guests for a privately hosted Elite Wine Experience. Optional Elite Enhancements are also available before your journey through Bordeaux begins the following day.
April 30 – May 1: Libourne & Saint-Émilion
Enjoy an overnight stay in the charming riverside town of Libourne, providing ample time to discover nearby Saint-Émilion—one of Bordeaux’s most treasured wine destinations. Wander its medieval streets, cafés, bakeries, and wine shops at your leisure, or join a select group of guests for privately hosted Elite Wine Experiences at exceptional estates throughout Saint-Émilion and Pomerol.
As we set sail in the afternoon, relax on deck and enjoy AmaWaterways’ signature Sip n’ Sail, specially hosted by our Elite Wine Professional and featuring a selection of exceptional California wines.
May 2: Blaye & Bourg
Explore the charming riverside villages of Blaye and Bourg through AmaWaterways’ included sightseeing experiences, from the historic Vauban Citadel to leisurely village walks. Select guests may also join privately hosted Elite Wine Experiences before gathering in the evening to enjoy Bourg’s festive celebration of local wines and live music.
May 3: Pauillac
Home to some of the world’s most celebrated wine estates, Pauillac offers an unforgettable day in the heart of the Médoc. Enjoy AmaWaterways’ included excursions or join a select group of guests for privately hosted Elite Wine Experiences, featuring exceptional estates and extraordinary access not typically available to the public.
May 4: Cadillac
From centuries-old castles and the celebrated wines of Sauternes to tranquil vineyard retreats, today’s port offers something for every traveler.
